I am a Consultant Neurosurgeon and lead the cerebrovascular (neurovascular) surgery service at Barts Health NHS Trust and operate my own private practice. My specialist work focuses on the treatment of brain aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), cavernous malformations, brain tumours and skull base conditions. I also treat acoustic neuromas, meningiomas, facial pain such as trigeminal neuralgia, hemifacial spasm, head injuries and adult spinal problems including back, neck and arm pain as well as sciatica.

I studied Medicine at the University of Manchester and went on to complete an additional degree in Medical Physics at University College London, graduating with First Class Honours. I carried out my neurosurgical training in North London, before undertaking specialist fellowships in Skull Base Surgery at Barts and Queen’s Hospitals, and in Cerebrovascular Surgery at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, one of the busiest centres of its kind in the UK.

Over my 15 year surgical career I have performed over 1000 surgeries and work closely with patients and their families to make sure they feel informed and supported at every stage. My aim is always to provide safe, effective and compassionate care tailored to each person’s needs.
